Choice Hotels International has continued its expansion of the upscale Cambria Hotels brand with the recent opening of Cambria Hotel Waco University Riverfront in Texas.
The four-storey, 130-room property marks the ninth Cambria Hotel in Texas and is strategically positioned to meet the growing demand for modern, upscale accommodation in the US Southwest.
Expanding US presence
Developed by KB Hotels, a hotel development company in central Texas, the Cambria Hotel Waco University Riverfront contributes to the brand's presence in cities across the US.
With more than 68 Cambria hotels open and almost 70 in the pipeline, Choice Hotels maintains its position as a leader in providing upscale accommodation across the country.
Indy Adenaw, senior vice-president and general manager, upscale, Choice Hotels, emphasised the brand's commitment to Texas.

Situated at 110 South Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, the new Cambria Hotel Waco University Riverfront offers locally inspired design and upscale amenities.
Guests can enjoy sophisticated rooms, spa-inspired bathrooms with Bluetooth mirrors and onsite dining.
The property also features fitness facilities, multi-purpose indoor and outdoor spaces and 7,000ft² of meeting areas.
Tech-friendly features include the Cambria Contactless Concierge text messaging service and mobile check-in.
