Hospitality software solutions provider Canary Technologies has announced its integration with financial technology platform Adyen.

The partnership is intended to enhance payment processing capabilities for hotels.

The integration is expected to allow hotels to offer guests a seamless and secure payment experience that prioritises efficiency and convenience.

Canary Technologies co-founder SJ Sawhney said: “We are thrilled about our collaboration with Adyen.

“This integration marks a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to providing our hotel partners with a more efficient, secure and flexible payment solution.”

The integration introduces 3DS technology.

This feature adds an extra layer of protection for credit and debit card payments, safeguarding guests' payment information during online reservations.

Adyen global head of hospitality Mark Rademaker said: “Across the hospitality industry, the growing number of digitally savvy consumers is driving the need for seamless check-in.

“Through our integration with Canary, we are helping re-imagine the hospitality experience and future-proof frictionless and memorable guest journeys.”

This comes after Canary Technologies was recently selected by IHG Hotels & Resorts as an approved vendor for its digital tipping solution.

The collaboration is expected to improve employee recognition and enhance the guest experience across IHG’s global network of hotels.

Canary Technologies offers a suite of hotel technologies including its Guest Management Platform.

It streamlines the guest experience from post-booking to checkout and serves more than 20,000 hoteliers across 80 countries.
