American hospitality company Choice Hotels International has opened its Cambria Hotel Burbank Airport in Burbank, California, US.
The new property features 150 contemporary guest rooms and a range of amenities, including spa-inspired bathrooms, a fitness centre and a full-service restaurant and bar.
It is situated a mile from the airport and offers easy access to West Hollywood and Beverly Hills.
Choice Hotels upscale brands senior vice-president and general manager Indy Adenaw said: “The Cambria Hotel Burbank Airport is the latest example of high-quality hotels that continue to open under the Cambria Brand.
“This hotel reflects our deep commitment to the Cambria brand and was developed directly by the company. Burbank will offer an upscale experience that our guests will love and will soon become the jewel for the Burbank market.”
The new property is part of Choice Hotels' strategic expansion in key markets, marking the ninth hotel of the brand since the start of last year.
Choice Hotels adopts a focused self-development strategy, selectively developing hotels similar to the Burbank property to drive brand growth and refine the brand and operating model.
These hotels are later sold to third-party owners while maintaining the franchising business model.
The company has announced several upcoming Cambria Hotel openings this year in locations such as North Conway, Spokane, Niagara Falls, Denver, Imperial, Rehoboth Beach, Plymouth, and Jacksonville.
Earlier this month, Choice Hotels EMEA expanded its Clarion brand with the addition of Clarion Charlecote Pheasant Hotel, a 16th-century property in Warwickshire, UK, near the birthplace of William Shakespeare.
