Christie & Co, a specialist business property adviser, has completed the sale of Coast & Country Collection’s three hotels to HS Hotels.
Financial details of the deal are undisclosed.
The sale was facilitated by Christie & Co director for Hotels South West Stephen Champion, and Hotels East Anglia director Simon Jackaman.
These properties, located on England's South West and East coasts, comprise Beresford Hotel in Newquay, Cornwall; Valley Of Rocks Hotel in Lynton, North Devon; and the Carlton Hotel in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
Stephen Champion said: “The sale of these three coastal hotels to the expanding HS Hotels group demonstrates the continued demand we are witnessing for hotels across the UK and in particular, the continued buyer appetite and confidence in the South West tourism industry.”
Beresford Hotel is a 103-bedroom seafront property offering views of Tolcarne Beach and the Atlantic Ocean.
The hotel's facilities include an all-day restaurant, a ballroom, and a conservatory.
Valley of Rocks Hotel, a Grade II listed property with 68 bedrooms, is situated on a cliff in Lynton, North Devon.
This hotel allows guests to access the town and its beaches via the Cliff Railway funicular train, an attraction since 1890.
Carlton Hotel in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, offers 97 bedrooms and is located near the town's piers, amusement parks, and nightlife.
Simon Jackaman said: “The hotels are three of the 33-assets that we are currently marketing as part of the Coast & Country portfolio. The hotels have received very strong interest to date, and a very limited number of these assets remain available. We invite any interested parties to get in touch.”
In may 2024, the company, on behalf of Coast & Country Collection, announced the sale of the Imperial Hotel in Tenby, Pembrokeshire.
