Thailand-based Compass Hospitality has further expanded its portfolio in the UK by securing the mandate to manage Best Western Plus Keavil House Hotel in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland.
Spread across 12 acres, the 4-star property boasts 70 guestrooms, a health club, a spa and the Elgin Suite for events and weddings.
Keavil House Hotel is Compass Hospitality’s fourth hotel in partnership with the Singapore-based investment corporation the Buxani Group.
The hotel is located two miles west of Dunfermline’s city centre. It is also near the naval shipyard at Rosyth and roughly 19 miles from Edinburgh’s city centre.
Compass Hospitality president and CEO Harmil Singh said: “The Keavil House Hotel is an established property and a charming addition to the distinctive portfolio of our hotels in the UK.
“Our continued expansion in the UK reflects our strong favourable outlook for the UK hospitality industry.
“Compass Hospitality will continue to collaborate with our partners to identify strategic hotels for acquisition and management.”
The property opened as a country house in the middle of the 19th century and was renovated into a hotel in the early 1980s.
Buxani Group CEO Kishore Buxani said: “We are extremely pleased to add the Best Western Plus Keavil House Hotel to our existing portfolio of hotels in the UK.
“This demonstrates our continued interest, commitment and confidence in the UK hospitality sector and we hope to grow our UK footprint even further.
“We are also grateful to the existing owners for building a wonderful hospitality and leisure spa business over the last 35 years and we intend to carry on providing a fantastic experience to our guests and customers going forward.”
