Construction of the Dolce by Wyndham Miami, a new mid-rise hotel project in Miami Beach's Art Deco District in the US, has officially begun.
The commencement of the project was marked by a groundbreaking ceremony conducted by Glokal Group, an Argentinian business group specialising in tourism and hospitality services, in collaboration with Miami-based real estate developer Blue Road.
The $40m construction project offers quick access to major events such as Art Basel and the Miami International Boat Show.
It is designed to attract visitors looking for luxury accommodations close to the beach and the Miami Beach Convention Center.
Hotel Management quoted Glokal Group president Arturo Navarro as saying: “Dolce by Wyndham Miami marks a significant milestone for our company as our first project in the US and we anticipate many more to follow.
“Miami offers unparalleled attractions for visitors, and our hotel will provide the perfect blend of comfort and exclusivity for both business and leisure travellers.”
The 15,000ft², five-storey hotel will feature 90 rooms and various amenities such as a rooftop pool, dining options and a business centre.
AADESA Hotel Management and Blue Road, both specialising in hotel management for more than two decades, will operate the hotel.
Dolce by Wyndham Miami will also feature a range of luxurious amenities, including smart TVs, plush beds, minibars, and modern bathrooms to ensure a premium experience for guests.
The opening of Dolce by Wyndham Miami, scheduled in 2026, is expected to create more than 45 local jobs.
Blue Road founder and principal Marcelo Tenenbaum said: “Our alliance with Glokal Group strengthens this project by bringing their expertise into a new market.
“Together with our proven track record, we are committed to delivering exceptional service and ensuring our guests’ every need is met.”
