Continent Worldwide Hotels announces expansion in Saudi Arabia

Continent Worldwide Hotels plans to introduce Continent Areola Hotel and Continent Rose Hotel in Madina.

Continent Worldwide Hotels, a Turkish franchising and management services company, has signed two hotels in Madina and another property in Al Dammam of Saudi Arabia.

These developments represent a major milestone for the brand as it continues to expand its footprint in the Gulf and MENA regions, according to the press release posted on Zawya.

It currently has Continent Al Waha Riyadh, Continent Al Ertiqaa Jeddah and Continent Al Uqayr Eastern Province in its portfolio.

Continent Worldwide Hotels plans to introduce Continent Areola Hotel and Continent Rose Hotel in Madina. The contract execution is expected to commence in Q1 2024 and Q4 2025, respectively.

A four-star property, Continent Areola Hotel will feature 216 luxurious rooms, a fine dining restaurant and buffet restaurant, and a meeting room.

The Continent Rose Hotel will have 286 rooms, a restaurant, and a meeting room.

The property at Al Dammam district is Continent Al Khobar, a mix use project with hospital and business building, will feature 42 luxury rooms and suites, an all-day dining area, a coffee shop, a spa and healthclub. It is scheduled to open in Q4 2023.

Continent Hotels Gulf Region CEO Jamal Hamed said: "We are thrilled to leave our mark on Madina's hospitality landscape. These properties are strategically located in the heart of Madina, just a few meters away from Al Haram."

Continent Worldwide Hotels managing director Ethem Zagikyan said: "With our existing properties and the newly signed ones, we now manage a total of 1000 rooms, a testament to our commitment to providing exceptional hospitality experiences."

The company has about 12 other project signings in pipeline and is seeking new developments in Jizan, Dubai, Tabuk, Riyadh, Jordan, and Egypt.

Zagikyan further added: "We are proud to confirm that we are the sole Turkish City hotel franchisor and management company in the MENA and Gulf regions with a wide expansion plan."
