DoubleTree Beach Resort by Hilton in North Redington Beach, Florida, US, has completed a comprehensive renovation project, enhancing the guest experience.

The resort, situated on the west coast of Central Florida, is owned and operated by OTO Development, a part of The Johnson Group.

According to Hotel Online, the expansion project included a floor-to-ceiling upfit and the introduction of improved amenities, public spaces and guest rooms.

The hotel operator said that the reopening of this 125-room hotel comes in time for the area's peak season.

The seven-storey hotel features a revamped exterior with tropical hues of blue and pink against a white backdrop.

DoubleTree Beach Resort further includes an upgraded entrance, marked by azure columns, and a lobby that extends throughout the redesigned public areas.

The interior enhancements include shiplap panelling, rope screens, and an organic ceiling sculpture, while millwork and custom tile flooring elevate the space.

Public spaces in the hotel have a newly added fitness centre along with improved meeting spaces with ocean views, and a refurbished pool deck.

The guest rooms at DoubleTree have been updated with new bathrooms and furnishings, and now include refrigerators and microwaves.

Additionally, many rooms offer balconies with views of the Gulf while others provide vistas of Boca Ciega Bay.

The hotel's dining venue and tiki hut have been transformed into Coconut Charlie’s Beach Bar & Grill, a concept by OTO Development.

An extensive drinks list and seating options, both indoors and on a veranda with Gulf views, make it a prime spot for sunset viewing.

The renovation project was a collaborative effort with Pond & Company as the architect and interior designer, Continental Contractors as the interior general contractor, and Valcourt Building Services as the exterior general contractor.

OTO Development general manager Mike Hook said: “We are kicking off the season with a fresh new look. This is a great time to visit our property. Guests will love the beach-elegant vibe, the resort amenities and, as ever, our ideal position just 150 feet from the Gulf of Mexico.”
