Hotel brokerage and advisory company DSH Hotel Advisors has secured the sale of the Quality Inn Lake City in Florida for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition by US-based company Maheshwara was led by DSH Hotel Advisors' managing principal Dennis Hopper, investments senior vice-president Randy Taylor, and investments vice-president Dylan Amin.
Hopper said: "The sale of the Quality Inn Lake City, Florida, highlights our team's expertise in the hotel space. Hoteliers continue to place their trust in our team to deliver superior results, and we will continue to deliver and exceed expectations.”
The sale on behalf of the hotel seller, Aksar Motel, was a ‘confidential transaction’ that attracted interest from investors nationwide, with more than 200 signed confidentiality agreements and 11 competitive offers.
Taylor added: "Our team successfully executed a confidential transaction, securing multiple competitive offers from qualified investors across the US. We achieved the seller's goals for their exit while leaving a significant upside for the buyer to be extremely successful at this property. We continue to work with both domestic and international investors actively seeking hotel assets in the Southeast.”
Located near the Lake City Mall and the Lake City Municipal Airport, Quality Inn Lake City offers 253ft² of event space, complimentary Wi-Fi, continental breakfast, and an outdoor pool.
The pet-friendly hotel provides various room types, including standard rooms with two double beds or one king bed, mobility-accessible rooms, and suites with sofa beds.
Amin said: “The property's strategic location off I-75, recent renovations, and strong market fundamentals made it a highly sought-after investment. We appreciate the trust our client placed in us to execute this sale and look forward to continuing to deliver results in the Florida hospitality market.”
