Emaar Misr has opened the new 'Address Beach Resort Marassi' on Egypt's North Coast, according to a press release posted on Zawya.

This property, developed with an investment of E£5bn ($161m), marks the second Address Hotels and Resorts-branded hotel and resort in the country.

With a 160m long private beach, the new property occupies an area of 86,100m² in Marassi, Sidi Abdelrahman.

The hotel features 118 rooms and suites, as well as 169 serviced apartments and 69 cabanas. It is also in close proximity to the yacht club and international marina.

The hotel includes a fitness centre, a spa and a Qix kids club, as well as restaurants that provide several international cuisines.

Emaar Properties founder Mohamed AlAbbar was quoted by the news publication as saying: “Emaar aims to develop a portfolio of ten hotels, which represents approximately 3,000 hotel rooms in Egypt’s North Coast with an investment of E£26.3bn, including both the previously launched hotels and those that are still under construction.

“This reflects the company's vision to enhance the hotels and hospitality sector in this destination and building on this belief, Emaar Misr launched Address Marassi Golf Resort, in addition to renovating and launching Alamein Hotel, along with five Boutique Hotels.”

Emaar has boosted Egypt's development sector through a portfolio of six projects: Up Town Cairo, situated in central Cairo, Marassi and Soul, in the North Coast; Mivida in New Cairo; Cairo Gate in Sheikh Zayed and Belle Vie in New Zayed.
