EVEN Hotels, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, has announced plans to launch seven properties in the US by the end of next year.

The additions come after the unveiling of the brand's new prototype.

This move will further expand the brand’s presence in the US by about 40% while infusing elements of its refreshed look throughout its portfolio.

EVEN Hotels global marketing and brand management vice-president Raul Ortiz said: “With more than 50 open or in pipeline global properties, EVEN Hotels is poised to capture a greater share of travellers wishing to stay well – however they define it – in the future.

“We’re encouraged at how the evolution of our brand and on-site offerings has resonated with guests and owners so far. We look forward to bringing the EVEN Hotels experience and our vision for flexible, wellness-minded travel to more markets.”

EVEN Hotel Charlotte, set to open in late 2025, will be the first to showcase the brand's new design prototype.

The hotel is situated near Charlotte Douglas International Airport within a mixed-use development that is owned by Royal Panthera, the hotel owner and manager.

It will feature 131 guest rooms, about 1,700ft² of event space and the brand's Athletic Studio.

The hotel will also have EVEN Kitchen & Bar, which serves a range of balanced meals and beverages and an adjacent 24/7 market offering grab-and-go options.

EVEN Hotels' new design prototype aims to reduce costs for owners compared to the previous model while catering to a variety of wellness preferences and routines.

The brand incorporates wellness elements throughout the guest experience, including spa-like showers, nightly tea service and three room types with exercise options, among others.

The brand’s upcoming openings include EVEN Hotel Austin Uptown, expected to open before the end of this year and EVEN Hotel Waco – University Area, Texas, in late 2023.

Additionally, the list includes a new property in Beaverton, Oregon, expected to open later this year and an under-construction hotel in Bozeman, Montana, which is planned to open in 2024.

The brand will also strengthen its presence in Florida with new properties in Orlando and Miami's Sweetwater - Doral area, set to open in 2024.
