EVT Hotels & Resorts has entered a management partnership with Invictus Developments, under the Independent Collection by EVT (ICbE).
Under this partnership, EVT is now managing The Old Clare Hotel in Chippendale and Harbour Rocks Hotel in Sydney, Australia, with plans for further expansion.
The Old Clare Hotel, an Art-Deco-style property, is situated across two heritage-listed buildings.
It is part of the Eat Street lifestyle and hospitality precinct within Central Park and Broadway.
It includes 69 heritage-modern rooms, which include lofts, executive suites, and dog-friendly options.
The hotel also boasts a rooftop with a bar and guest pool, offering a view of the city skyline.
It also has a variety of dining experiences, including the one-hatted Longshore seafood restaurant, Clare Bar, and TOCH Bar for a contemporary breakfast.
The hotel's wellness offerings feature a private gym, free bike hire, in-room massage services, and a book and record library.
Additionally, it provides off-site valet parking and facilities for conferences and events, including weddings and corporate meetings.
Harbour Rocks Hotel, situated at the centre of The Rocks precinct on the edge of Sydney Harbour, offers 59 rooms of five-star accommodation.
The rooms range from heritage to harbour view suites.
Culinary options at the hotel include Tayim Restaurant, which serves modern and traditional Middle Eastern cuisine as well as Terrace by Tayim, an Arabian-themed outdoor laneway bar.
In addition, the food and beverage options include Creperie Suzette for Parisian treats and Eric’s Bar on the ground floor.
The hotel also caters to private events and business meetings, along with on-site fitness facilities for guests.
EVT Hotel and Resorts Operations director Norman Arundel said: “We appreciate the confidence Invictus Developments’ has in selecting these hotels to be part of the Luxe tier of the Independent Collection.
“The Old Clare and Harbour Rocks Hotels are Sydney accommodation icons and will be valued additions to the Independent Collection by EVT, which continues to deliver results for owners through a flexible and adaptable model for any property type.”
Invictus Developments Chayadi Karim said: “We are committed to growth and investment within the Australian hotel sector and are excited to accelerate this strategic focus in partnership with EVT.
“These Invictus hotels will form part of a new brand within the Independent Collection, to be announced later this year.”
The Collection now comprises 19 hotels, covering all market segments from luxury to comfort, and enables hotel owners to leverage EVT's scale and expertise in hotel solutions.
This comes after EVT revealed plans for its first hotel management agreement in Asia in December 2023.
