Australian hospitality company EVT has announced a new hotel management agreement with RF Corval and take over the operations of Sherwood Hotel in Queenstown, New Zealand.
Established a decade ago by Queenstown property investor and entrepreneur Adam Smith, the hotel was recently purchased by RF Corval.
Under the agreement, general manager Hayley Scott and food and beverage director Chris Scott will continue to run the property.

Set against Queenstown's scenery, the Sherwood Hotel aims to provide a retreat that blends “cosy, art-focused accommodations” with a focus on sustainability and local culture.
The hotel has a vegetable and herb garden, which provides fresh ingredients to its two-hat restaurant and bar.
Amenities offered by the property also include yoga classes, a sauna and massage therapy.
As part of the acquisition, RF Corval plans additional investments at the property, beginning with hotel room upgrades to elevate its offerings.

In August, EVT took over the operations of Alex Hotel in Perth, Western Australia.
