Foley Entertainment Group (FEG) has expanded its hospitality portfolio with the acquisition of MacArthur Place Hotel & Spa in Sonoma, California, US, from Lat33 Capital.
The companies did not disclose the terms of the deal.
The daily operations of MacArthur Place will now be taken over by FEG, which will also incorporate its Foley Five Star Service into the property's strategic functions.
MacArthur Place has recently completed a four-year property-wide transformation.
Five additional guestrooms, including the Artists Cottage, were added as part of the renovation, which also included a refurbished spa and fitness centre and redesigned outdoor pool area.
The extensive renovations of the six-acre parcel property began in August 2019.
The overhaul also included an elevated reception and arrival experience, along with all-new guest rooms and signature cottage suites.
MacArthur Place now features a reimagined food and beverage programme, comprising dining centrepiece Layla, as well as The Porch and The Bar at MacArthur.
FEG founder and Sonoma Valley vintner Bill Foley said: “I have always believed MacArthur Place to be the perfect addition to the Foley Entertainment Group family. Adding to our already deep Sonoma County roots and portfolio of two hotels, seven estate wineries and multiple restaurants, MacArthur Place truly solidifies our place in this incredible wine region.
“It’s an iconic hotel and the completion of the recent renovation has brought the already beautiful property to the next level. I am proud to welcome MacArthur Place to FEG.”
FEG currently operates Hotel Les Mars in Healdsburg, Farmhouse Inn in Sonoma County, and Hotel Californian in Santa Barbara.
