Hilton has further expanded its portfolio by opening the first LXR Hotels & Resorts-branded property in South-East Asia.

Umana Bali, LXR Hotels & Resorts is managed by Hilton and owned by PT Surya Semesta Internusa, reported Travel News Asia.

Located in Bali, Indonesia, the resort has 72 villas starting at a size of 403m², with each offering an outdoor hot tub and private infinity-edge pool.

The 1,200m² three-bedroom Umana Pool Villa caters to multigenerational families or groups.

Dining options at the property include Mediterranean restaurant Oliverra, Commune Restaurant, Pad Pool Bar and Mer Lounge.

It also has 295m² of event space, including five meeting rooms and a chapel for weddings.

Additionally, the resort provides wedding services such as catering, live music, cake, and more.

Among other amenities provided at the property include a fitness centre, kids’ club, and spa.

The resort also offers guests a range of activities such as floating in-villa breakfasts, beach bonfire barbecues, and more.

The architecture, landscape design, and interiors of the property were designed by WATG | Wimberly.

Hilton Asia Pacific president Alan Watts said: “LXR Hotels & Resorts presents a tremendous opportunity for Hilton’s Asia Pacific luxury growth. Following the brand’s successful regional launch in Kyoto, welcoming another stunning LXR resort in Bali underscores our commitment to expanding our world-class luxury brands in the most sought-after destinations.

“With its coveted location and exclusive positioning, Umana Bali is set to shape a new generation of luxury travel in Bali.”

The latest addition to the brand portfolio comes after the opening of ROKU KYOTO, a LXR Hotels & Resorts-branded property in Kyoto, Japan.

Last month, Hilton revealed its plan to extend its franchise model into the upscale full-service category in Greater China with the inclusion of the DoubleTree by Hilton brand.

Currently, Hilton has 19 diverse hotel brands with more than 7,000 properties worldwide.
