Fishmore Hall, a 15-bedroom hotel in Ludlow, Shropshire, UK, has been sold to a private buyer, in a deal facilitated by Christie & Co, a business property adviser.
The Georgian-style property is known for its modern amenities, including a restaurant and spa facility.
Set against the backdrop of the Shropshire countryside, Fishmore Hall has undergone extensive refurbishments under its previous ownership.
The hotel now includes a contemporary restaurant, comfortable lounge areas, and a spa facility introduced in 2016.
The private buyer, who has a background in the hotel industry, is set to further the establishment's success.
Christie & Co hotel broker Sam Roberts said: “Fishmore Hall generated a lot of interest during its marketing period. It’s a delightful and highly successful business, which has now found a new owner who could see the further potential and is excited to take the reins and build on the current business model, I wish him all the success with the hotel.
“I would also like to thank the previous owner who entrusted me with selling her fabulous business of 16 years and wish her well in her future endeavours.”
The hotel offers a range of accommodation options, from standard to luxury, all featuring designer bathrooms and scenic views.
It also caters to disabled guests with a bespoke ground-floor room designed for accessibility.
Fishmore Hall's in-house restaurant Forelles is led by head chef Phil Kerry. The restaurant uses locally sourced ingredients to provide guests with breakfast, lunch, and dinner options.
The spa facility complements the hotel's luxurious offerings with four treatment rooms, a steam room, a sauna, an outdoor Cedar wellness Hot Tub, and a relaxing hammock on the decking.
Recently, Christie & Co also brokered a deal where Complete Hospitality acquired the White Rose Hotel in Askrigg. Following the deal, it is now rebranded as The Middle House, Pub | Dining | Hotel.
Additionally, it brokered the sale of Glenpark Hotel in Ayr, Scotland, to Lucy and Felix Ingham.
The Glenpark Hotel features 21 bedrooms, a bar, a restaurant, and an outdoor seating area, located near the historic Wallace Tower.
