Fortune Hotels, a part of ITC's hotel group, has further bolstered its presence in India with the signing of an operating agreement for a property in Dehradun, as reported by ETHospitality.com.

This partnership marks the addition of the fourth hotel in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.

The latest announcement comes after Fortune Hotels signed a resort property in Uttarakhand’s Jim Corbett last month.

Fortune Hotels managing director Samir MC said: “Our entry into Dehradun extends our presence into the vibrant and promising Himalayan region. Similar to our Haldwani property, this mixed-use establishment will cater to both business and leisure travellers seeking high-quality experiences.

“With an already established and sought-after resort in the picturesque landscapes of Mussoorie, this new addition is poised to enhance and complement the legacy of our sister hotels in the state.”

Scheduled for an early 2026 opening, Fortune Select Dehradun will offer a range of rooms along with food and beverage options.

It will also host events ranging from corporate events to social gatherings at its banquet venues.

Among the amenities to be provided at the property will include a swimming pool, a spa and a fitness facility.

Located on Chakrata Road near Selaqui Industrial Area, the hotel is a greenfield project.

Fortune Hotels is a chain of full-service leisure and business hotels.

Currently, it manages three hotels in Uttarakhand, with one in Haridwar, another in Haldwani and a third in Mussoorie.

In August this year, the hotel chain opened Fortune Park Hoshiarpur in the Indian state of Punjab.
