Fortune Hotels, part of ITC's Hotel Group, has opened its fourth hotel in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh called Fortune Park Aligarh, as reported by ETHospitalityWorld.com.

Located in the city of Aligarh, the hotel offers 65 rooms along with a complimentary breakfast.

Fortune Hotels managing director Samir MC said: “We are delighted to add another Fortune to our growing footprint in UP and thank the promoters for recognising the Fortune Advantage and bestowing their trust in us.

“Aligarh is not just a heritage city but also an established educational hub, an agricultural trade centre and an emerging industrial zone, which is home to thousands of manufacturers, exporters and industrial suppliers. This unique disposition of the bustling city draws both tourists and business travellers to it and we look forward to hosting them all.”

Dining options at the property include the multicuisine restaurant called Zodiac and a rooftop bar called Unlock, which features a pool and serves finger foods.

Guests can also dine at Nakshatra Bar, a rooftop restaurant and lounge bar that offers barbecued specialities.

The hotel can also host events ranging from weddings to conferences at its banquet venues, which can accommodate up to 500 guests.

It provides a specialised events team, gourmet dining choices, as well as personalised services.

The hotel is situated on Grand Trunk Road and is connected to the upcoming Noida International Airport via Aligarh-Palwal Road.

Guests at the hotel have access to nearby locations such as Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh Clock Tower, Jama Masjid and Khereshwar Mandir.

This latest addition comes after the hotel group signed an operating agreement for a property in Dehradun, India, last month.

Currently, Fortune Hotels has three more hotels in Uttar Pradesh, located in Lucknow, Noida and Ghaziabad.

Cryptocurrency - The world’s most polarizing technology theme

The globalization and digitization of travel and tourism are both driving the demand for easy-to-use and cheap international transaction processes and payment systems. Tourists are beginning to discover that cryptocurrencies offer such opportunities—by simplifying cross-border transactions and overcoming the associated foreign currency exchange costs. At present, cryptocurrencies are the most advanced application of public blockchains that promise benefits such as a universal means of payment and minimal fees through the removal of intermediaries.
