Fortune Hotels, a part of the ITC hotel group, has further bolstered its presence in South India by signing two new properties in the state of Tamil Nadu.
This announcement comes after the company opened its fourth hotel, Fortune Park Aligarh, in Uttar Pradesh, earlier this month.
Scheduled to open soon, the two properties in south India are Fortune Beach Resort ECH Chennai and Fortune Hosur, reported Hospibuz.
The latest additions bring Fortune Park Hotels’ portfolio of alliances in Tamil Nadu to five, with one in the cities of Vellore, Chennai, Ooty, Tiruppur, and Hosur.
Situated on the Golden Beach in Uthandi, Chennai, Fortune Beach Resort ECH Chennai is a brownfield resort targeting both city residents and travellers.
It will feature rooms and various dining options, including an all-day diner and a bar and lounge.
It will also have a banquet hall with lawns and offer a range of facilities.
Fortune Hosur, situated in the industrial town of Hosur, will be within an hour's drive from Bangalore city.
It will boast of 107 rooms and suites alongside a collection of facilities, catering to both business and leisure travellers.
The property is currently undergoing renovation to be in line with Fortune brand standards.
The revamped property will include an all-day dining outlet, a speciality restaurant, and bars.
It will be able to host both social and corporate events at its various banquet venues.
Among the other amenities to be provided at the property include a spa and an outdoor swimming pool.
