Four Seasons is set to open its second hotel in downtown Hangzhou, China, in 2024 as part of the Hangzhou Centre mixed-use development project.
Located in the Hangzhou Centre Towers, the hotel aims to offer a retreat inspired by the city's natural landscape.
The 150,000m² complex includes two 130-metre towers and 8,500m² of green space.
Functional design and diverse amenities
Kaixu Yan, executive deputy general manager of Greentown China Holdings Limited, said in a statement: “Hangzhou Centre will redefine the urban landscape, establishing itself as a premier destination for leisure, boasting high-end retail options, speciality dining experiences, luxurious accommodations and exceptional banquet and conference services.”
Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou at Hangzhou Centre promises functional design by architects and designers.
The 214 rooms and suites, ranging from 54 to 300m², will offer views of the river and West Lake.
The hotel will feature a range of dining options, a rooftop bar, a garden tea pavilion and an all-day dining outlet with interactive hot pot stations.
With over 2,800m² of event space, including a pillarless ballroom, the hotel is well-equipped to host events of all sizes.
Its recreation space, which spans more than 1,000m², will include an indoor pool, a whirlpool, a spa and fitness facilities.
Collaborative project with global reach
The luxury hospitality company is collaborating with Greentown China Holdings Limited, China Resources Land Limited and the Hangzhou Metro Development Company Limited for this venture.
The collaboration aims to expand Four Seasons’ brand presence in Hangzhou and China.
As Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou at Hangzhou Centre joins existing properties in the city and more upcoming hotels in Dalian, Suzhou and Xi'an, it reflects the brand's commitment to providing luxury experiences throughout China.
“We are delighted to have Four Seasons contribute their global expertise and renowned reputation to this project in order to provide unparalleled luxury hospitality services in the promising Chinese market,” added Yan.
