Luxury hospitality company Four Seasons has teamed up with Saudi architecture and engineering consultancy Dar Al Omran to launch Four Seasons Hotel Madinah in Saudi Arabia.
Set to open later this year, this new hotel will be situated in the heart of Madinah, close to the Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, or the Prophet's Mosque.
It will offer 246 guest rooms and suites, alongside a variety of dining options with multiple restaurant and lounge concepts.
The hotel will also feature a meeting and event space, a fitness centre, and a spa.
The design of the hotel will incorporate modern elements inspired by the Prophet's Mosque, to reflect the cultural and spiritual identity of Madinah.
Four Seasons global business development, portfolio management and residential president Bart Carnahan said: “As we continue to grow our portfolio in the Kingdom, we are thrilled to introduce Four Seasons Hotel Madinah to one of Saudi Arabia's most fascinating markets.
“Together with our partners at Dar Al Omran Company, we are dedicated to honouring the historic importance of Madinah and the significance it holds as a highly-revered destination for the Islamic world while welcoming a new generation of visitors to uncover all the city has to offer.”
The architectural design of the hotel is being led by HKS, with LW Design Group overseeing the interior design of the guest rooms and public areas.
AvroKO has been appointed as the interior design lead for the lobby, reception, and dining outlets.
Waleed Sobhy, who began his career with Four Seasons 20 years ago, will spearhead the new hotel as general manager.
Earlier this year, Four Seasons announced a collaboration with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings and Fincantieri to introduce a luxury yacht experience, with plans to set sail in 2026.
This venture will offer voyages across the Caribbean and Mediterranean, exploring over 130 destinations in more than 30 countries and territories.
