Travel technology company GIATA has formed an alliance with RateHawk, a business-to-business (B2B) booking platform.
It is anticipated to deliver mutual benefits to both GIATA and RateHawk.
This collaboration is also expected to benefit the travel industry by providing more precise hotel data, thereby reducing booking errors and improving overall user satisfaction.
It leverages GIATA's MultiCodes mapping solution and RateHawk's hotel database, according to a press release on Zawya.
RateHawk's booking tool, which offers information on more than 2.6 million hotels, will now recommend GIATA as its preferred mapping provider.
GIATA MultiCodes is designed to address data inconsistency by assigning a unified code to each hotel property, ensuring seamless integration and reliability for travel agencies, tour operators, and online booking platforms.
GIATA sales VP Rainer Schäfer said: “We are thrilled to partner with RateHawk, a leader in travel booking and distribution.
“This partnership will enable us to enhance the accuracy and depth of our MultiCodes mapping solution, providing our clients with the highest level of data precision.”
RateHawk API distribution head Christopher Jallah said: “At RateHawk, we are committed to delivering the best consumer experience to our partners.
“As a long-standing supplier of GIATA, we appreciate their dedication to curating hotel content and their high standards for efficient mapping solutions. Deepening our collaboration will enhance our content quality and simplify our interactions with API partners.”
In 2023, RateHawk partnered with ZentrumHub, aiming to enhance its accommodation inventory, which includes more than 2.2 million properties.
This move allowed ZentrumHub's customers to access a vast array of accommodations worldwide through Zentrum Connect.
