Grand Casino Hotel Resort in the US has invested in Agilysys' hospitality-focused technology to improve return on experience (ROE).
ROE is a metric in the hospitality industry that measures the financial gains from better-serving guests and staff.
The investment includes a suite of cloud-native Agilysys solutions designed to elevate guest experience and offer benefits to hotel staff.
Among the solutions is a cloud-based application that allows restaurant patrons to select their seating during reservation and helps establishments maximise space utilisation.
A point-of-sale (POS) system from Agilysys offers advanced security, ease of use, and transaction efficiency.
Its interface is designed to reduce staff training while supporting a diverse range of customer preferences for POS transactions.
The resort has also introduced a contactless, mobile self-service food & beverage ordering system.
This provides a user-friendly order-and-pay experience across various settings, including food courts, bars, restaurants, and in-room dining.
Agilysys solutions also include a commission-free, guest-facing web booking platform that promotes upselling unlimited amenities.
The amenities such as room upgrades, spa treatments and more are seamlessly integrated into an itinerary, simplifying guests’ ability to view and manage their trip schedules.
A procure-to-pay process system aims to increase productivity and reduce waste, improving vendor relationships and purchasing efficiency across all departments.
Investments were also made in Agilysys' spa management application and a golf course and pro shop management application.
Grand Casino Hotel Resort chief technology officer Justin Dunsworth said: “These Agilysys cutting-edge solutions not only improved hotel operations, but also our casino operations. This interoperability allows our guests to easily use player club points or our tribe-wide gift cards as payment.
“Since switching to Agilysys, we have successfully reduced the need to maintain our own infrastructure for these applications, making the investment highly worthwhile.”
