Hard Rock International has detailed development plans for its sixth REVERB property, REVERB by Hard Rock Pensacola, in Florida, US, with a ground-breaking set for 2026.
This addition to the company's portfolio follows the recent opening of REVERB by Hard Rock Hamburg.
Scheduled to open in 2029, REVERB by Hard Rock Pensacola will have more than 125 hotel rooms.
It will also comprise a full-service restaurant, rooftop and lobby bars, a quick-service eatery, and a fitness centre.
It will offer an exclusive REVERB City Guide with local artist-recommended spots for drinks, dining, and entertainment in Pensacola.
Situated in downtown Pensacola at Maritime Park, it will offer convenient access to attractions such as beaches, the National Naval Aviation Museum, and the Pensacola Museum of Art.
The hotel will be built on a 100-year ground lease with the City of Pensacola, pending the City Council’s approval.
The Dawson Company has brought together a team of design and engineering experts for the Florida Panhandle project.
This team includes Gensler, an architectural design company; Kravitz Consulting, a global conceptual design company; and Thornton Tomasetti, which plans to implement mass timber in the construction.
Hard Rock International global hotel development senior vice-president and head Todd Hricko said: “Hard Rock is thrilled to keep growing our REVERB hotel portfolio with what will be the second planned property in Florida, this time in the heart of Pensacola Bay.
“We have full confidence in our partner, the Dawson Company, to deliver a best-in-class hotel based on their four decades of proven experience executing complex and catalytic projects throughout the eastern United States, and their extensive knowledge of the Pensacola market.”
The project is anticipated to boost the local economy, creating more than 500 construction jobs and over 75 permanent hospitality positions.
