Harwood Hospitality Group, a division of US-based real estate company Harwood International, has announced the opening of Hôtel Swexan in Harwood District, Dallas, Texas.
The Dallas Morning News reported that Hôtel Swexan is the first hotel project for Harwood Hospitality Group, which owns and operates several acclaimed restaurants in Harwood District.
The 22-storey Hôtel Swexan, which opened following five years of construction, features 134 guest rooms and eight suites offering views of the Dallas skyline.
Among the other amenities provided in the guest rooms include five-fixture baths, floor-to-ceiling windows and products of the perfume brand Le Labo.
Hôtel Swexan general manager Julian Payne said: “We are thrilled to officially open this new hotel and share the next chapter of Dallas luxury with the world.
“We look forward to providing our visitors with a top-tier level of service that defines the Hôtel Swexan name, fostering connections, creativity and showcasing what makes Dallas truly special.”
Harwood International developed the hotel, while Japanese architect Kengo Kuma designed the hotel’s exterior.
Hôtel Swexan offers five culinary concepts. Stillwell’s is a Texas steakhouse that is accessible to both guests and locals; Isabelle’s is a tea enclave with a Parisian-inspired patio that transforms into a nightly martini bar and Library at Babou’s is a two-storey library that also transforms into Babou’s, a late night cocktail lounge and night club with DJ sets.
Additionally, the hotel features Pomelo and Leonie, two restaurants that serve international cuisine and drinks exclusively for the hotel guests.
Furthermore, the property features a 75ft infinity pool on the 20th floor; an event space on the sixth floor and a fitness centre on the eighth floor.
