Hotel management company Highgate has announced the opening of Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa in the heart of Honolulu, Hawaii.
The property features 187 rooms and suites, along with 112 residences, all boasting ocean and mountain range views.
The 39-story Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa is located near Ala Moana Center and the island's cosmopolitan coastline.
Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa general manager Matthew Grauso said: “We are ready to bring the Renaissance brand to Oahu and provide a new and inspiring haven that features contemporary design, cutting-edge amenities and a distinctively residential feel to Honolulu’s thriving Ala Moana district.
“With a strong commitment to transformative wellness, engaging art and culture, and masterful culinary programs, Renaissance Honolulu will ensure every stay is a journey into the rich tapestry of Hawaii.”
The hotel offers a blend of luxury accommodations and cultural immersion. The on-property Navigator, a hallmark of Renaissance Hotels, acts as a local ambassador, guiding guests to island experiences.
The hotel's design pays homage to Oahu's cultural heritage and natural beauty, with spacious rooms and residences featuring floor-to-ceiling glass windows.
Renaissance Honolulu is claimed to emphasise wellness, offering personalised services at the Uhiwai Spa.
The property also introduces MARA, a 6,700ft² restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine made using locally sourced Hawaiian ingredients.
The Coral Club Lounge provides guests with a combination of service and scenic ocean views, while SWAY offers al fresco dining inspired by local flavours.
The hotel's lobby café hosts LAMILL Coffee's first Hawaiian location, complementing the in-room dining options available throughout the day.
The Sky Deck presents a 25m lap pool, hot tubs, and a heated saltwater swimming pool for outdoor relaxation, complete with shaded cabanas and BBQ pavilions.
Guests have the option to purchase barbecue packages from MARA for a poolside culinary experience, with the option to enhance it with private chef service.
Last December, Marriott Bonvoy’s Renaissance Hotels launched a pilot programme for RENAI By Renaissance, a new AI-powered virtual concierge service.
RENAI, which stands for Renaissance Artificial Intelligence, provides guests access to 24/7 curated local insights such as breakfast spots, cocktail bars and more through their smartphones.
