Hilton Garden Inn, a hotel brand of Hilton, has bolstered its footprint in Mexico with the launch of its 15th property, Hilton Garden Inn Guadalajara Airport.
Strategically located within the Guadalajara International Airport's newly developed commercial hub, the new hotel is owned by Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico and managed by Hilton.
This latest addition takes Hilton's portfolio in Guadalajara to five.
The Hilton Garden Inn Guadalajara Airport is the first hotel within the airport area, providing convenient access to both leisure and business travellers.
Its location near the Mexico-Chapala highway offers easy access to Guadalajara's corporate zones and cultural landmarks such as the Instituto Cultural de Cabañas and the Guadalajara Cathedral.
Hilton Garden Inn brand leader Alan Roberts said: “This gem, the sole hotel within the airport terminal, exudes the brand’s signature ambience and brighthearted hospitality.
“Positioned for convenience, it is set to be the preferred choice for business and leisure travellers seeking a reliable, friendly, and comfortable stay in the vibrant city of Guadalajara.”
Some of the hotel’s amenities include 180 modern rooms, all-day dining at The Garden Grille & Bar, a 24-hour fitness centre, and flexible meeting spaces.
The hotel also features a ballroom for up to 100 guests and three event rooms for smaller gatherings.
Hilton Caribbean and Latin America operations head and senior vice-president Jorge Giannattasio said: “The opening of Hilton Garden Inn Guadalajara Airport marks an exciting milestone for Hilton as the only hotel located within the city’s international airport.”
As part of the Hilton Honors programme, members booking directly through Hilton channels can access benefits such as a flexible payment slider and free Wi-Fi.
With this new opening, Hilton's portfolio in Mexico includes more than 90 hotels across 13 brands. An additional 30 Hilton projects are in development.
Hilton operates over 220 hotels across 15 brands in 29 countries, with more than 110 projects in the development pipeline, in the Caribbean and Latin America.
Recently, Hilton partnered with sleep science expert Dr Rebecca Robbins to transform the sleep experience of its guests across its hotel portfolio.
