Hilton has signed a management agreement for a new Signia by Hilton property in Indiana, US.

Signia by Hilton Indianapolis is currently under construction and is expected to open in late 2026.

The property will be part of the city’s $710m convention centre expansion.

Managed by Hilton, the property, which is owned by the Capital Improvement Board of Managers of Marion County, will be developed by Kite Realty.

The 40-storey property will have 800 rooms, and Club Signia will provide access to the Club Lounge, hotel events, and programmes.

It will feature seven dining concepts, including a speakeasy bar, a sky bar, and a chef-driven restaurant catering to both locals and guests.

The hotel will have 90,000ft² of meeting space, including a 50,000ft² ballroom. It will also offer personalised services for the meeting planners and their guests.

The property will also feature a fitness centre, spa, and an outdoor pool deck.

Additionally, it will be a part of Hilton’s guest-loyalty programme called Hilton Honours.

It will provide direct access to the convention centre through a skywalk over Capitol Avenue.

Hilton luxury development vice president Amy King said: “The signing of Signia by Hilton Indianapolis represents a pivotal milestone for both the Signia by Hilton brand and Hilton, as we look to grow our presence in this culturally rich city, where we currently welcome travellers at nearly 50 Hilton properties across eight brands.

“Following the recent ground-breaking of the Indiana Convention Centre’s impressive expansion, we are honoured to collaborate with visionary owners who are contributing to the city’s monumental tourism growth and helping us cater to the ever-evolving needs of our guests in this vibrant destination.”

Signia by Hilton, which was launched in 2019, now includes properties such as Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and Signia by Hilton San Jose.

The brand plans to expand with the debut of Signia by Hilton Atlanta, scheduled to open in January 2024.

Hilton's diverse hotel portfolio in Indianapolis comprises 50 operational hotels, with more than ten additional hotels in various stages of development.
