Hilton has partnered with the day pass platform ResortPass on curated packages for participating Hilton properties across the Americas.
The companies are targeting the rapidly expanding segment of individuals seeking daytime visits to resorts and hotels. Visitors and locals who can access all hotel facilities and amenities unlock an additional revenue channel for hoteliers.
According to Hilton’s 2024 Trends Report, the top reason people want to travel in 2024 is to rest and recharge, which is a central theme of the offerings available through Hilton’s partnership with ResortPass.
The day passes provide access to Hilton's private beaches, pool complexes with full-service cabanas and daybeds, kids’ clubs, spas and dining outlets.
Examples of Hilton properties offering the packages are Conrad Los Angeles, Hilton Waikoloa Village, The Diplomat Beach Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton in Florida, and Conrad Punta de Mita in Mexico.
Hilton vice-president of wellness, retail and leisure operations for the Americas, Jessica Shea, commented: “With the day guest business continuing to show remarkable growth, from both a local and leisure guest perspective, we are pleased to work with ResortPass to meet the demand for more accessibility.”
For the first quarter (Q1) of 2024, Hilton reported a net income of $268m - a 28.22% rise from $209m in Q1 2023, benefitting from a rise in overseas travel.
