Hotel Equities (HE) has announced the launch of the new Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Kansas City at The Legends in Kansas, US.

Owned by Legend Hotel and managed by HE, the property is situated at 1925 North 98th Street.

Fairfield Inn & Suites has a range of facilities, including guest rooms and suites, a complimentary continental breakfast, an indoor pool and a fitness centre.

Additional amenities include complimentary parking and meeting space, which is targeted at business and leisure travellers.

Its proximity to the I-435 and I-70 corridor offers guests access to nearby sites such as the Kansas Speedway, HomeField Sports Complex, Compass Minerals, MLS Sporting KC Stadium, and Monarchs Baseball.

HE Operations senior regional director Karen Mendez said: “We are thrilled to introduce this beautiful new hotel to the Kansas City market.

The hotel will soon hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate its opening.

The event will see the participation of the HE team, local corporate accounts, and stakeholders.

Earlier this month, a partnership between HE and Urban Investment Partners introduced The Quincy, part of the Ascend Hotel Collection, in Washington, DC.

This upscale boutique hotel, franchised by Choice Hotels International, adds to HE's growing portfolio of managed properties.
