IHG Hotels & Resorts’ Hotel Indigo has expanded its Indonesian footprint by launching a new property in the city of Bandung.
The new Hotel Indigo Bandung Dago Pakar marks the lifestyle brand’s second presence in the country.
It is situated 700m above sea level and incorporates traditional Sundanese motifs and elements of nature into its design.
The hotel offers 277 rooms and suites, as well as a lobby featuring floor-to-ceiling windows.
It has several dining options and amenities such as a rooftop infinity pool with views of the Dago Pakar area and the Kancil Club for children.
The hotel will also offer nine meeting rooms and a grand ballroom to host various events, later in the year.
Hotel Indigo Bandung Dago Pakar and InterContinental Bandung Dago Pakar Cluster general manager Pascal Caubo said: “Hotel Indigo Bandung Dago Pakar is a tribute to the rich tapestry of Sundanese culture and the natural splendour of Bandung.
“We are thrilled to open the doors to a retreat where every detail reflects the vibrant spirit and natural beauty of this beloved neighbourhood. From our carefully curated design to our locally inspired dining experiences, every detail tells a story of Dago Pakar's heritage and charm.”
The hotel's location near Djuanda Forest Park, a conservation area and botanical garden, allows guests to experience more than 2,500 plant species and endangered wildlife.
Hotel Indigo currently operates 154 hotels across 25 countries, making it the second-largest brand within IHG's Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio.
Earlier this year, IHG announced an agreement with Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited for a 274-key Hotel Indigo property in Thailand.
Due to open in 2026, this new hotel will offer various amenities including meeting space, pool bar, gym, and swimming pool.
