Hotel Tonnelle, a member of Marriott's Tribute portfolio, has completed an extensive renovation, revitalising the entire New Orleans property in the US.

The transformation includes updates to the guest rooms, meeting spaces, and public areas, according to a press release of Ambridge Hospital posted on Hotel-online.com.

Third-party hotel operator Aimbridge Hospitality manages the property.

Situated along the historic St Charles Streetcar line in New Orleans, Louisiana, Hotel Tonnelle now comprises 132 refurbished guest rooms.

This renovation extends to the hotel's meeting spaces, which have been upgraded to cater to a variety of events.

The redesigned lobby and public areas reflect a balance between contemporary design and the classic New Orleans aesthetic.

One of the features of Hotel Tonnelle is Seventeen Feet, the on-site dining venue named in homage to the grand live oaks that adorn St Charles Avenue.

The restaurant pays tribute to the city's culinary tradition with a menu that includes classic breakfast options, local Cajun dishes, small plates, and an extensive selection of craft cocktails.

The hotel's event spaces are equipped with advanced amenities.

Hotel Tonnelle sales director Shannon Ryan said: “Hotel Tonnelle serves as a haven of tranquillity and charm in the heart of New Orleans’ Garden District.

“With this renovation, we have elevated the guest experience to new heights, ensuring that every aspect of our property reflects the vibrant spirit of the city.”

Last month, Marriott signed a cooperation agreement with hospitality company Delonix Group to expand its Tribute Portfolio brand across China.
