Travel technology providers Hotelogix and Sabre have integrated their platforms to streamline the distribution and reservation management capabilities of hoteliers.
The integration connects Hotelogix's Property Management System (Hotel PMS) with Sabre's SynXis Central Reservation System (CRS).
Hosted on a global cloud-based commerce and distribution platform, SynXis CRS is designed to be user-friendly, assisting in the management of rates, inventory, and bookings.
It is integrated with third-party solutions such as PMSs, revenue management systems, customer relationship management tools, and channel managers.
This system is said to support 40% of the hotel brands globally.
The partnership enables two-way seamless connectivity, enhancing hoteliers' ability to centrally monitor and manage room rates, availability, and restrictions across all distribution channels.
These channels include Global Distribution Systems (GDSs), Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), and booking engines.
Sabre Hospitality Community Sales global managing director and senior vice president Frank Trampert said: “Our collaboration with Hotelogix underscores Sabre Hospitality's dedication to empowering hoteliers across the globe by simplifying their operational complexities through streamlined distribution and enhanced reservation management capabilities.”
The latest collaboration is believed to translate into increased revenues for hoteliers.
Hotelogix CEO Aditya Sanghi said: “Adding SynXis to our comprehensive list of integration is a testament to our commitment to work with best-in-class solutions to help hotels meet their evolving operational needs.
“By leveraging the strengths of both platforms, hotels can ensure real-time distribution, more sales, and enhanced revenue.”
Last June, Sabre revealed that its Nuvola guest engagement software has integrated with WhatsApp.
This provided hotels using Nuvola’s Guest Chat module the option to select SMS messaging or WhatsApp for real-time communications with guests.
