Travel technology platform HotelPlanner has been selected as the official accommodation provider for all the events hosted by the Dutch Triathlon Association (NTB).
NTB acts as a representative body of 139 triathlon associations and 92 event organisations in the Netherlands. It counts more than 11,000 athletic and outdoor enthusiasts as members.
Since its establishment in 1987, NTB has been working to foster a supportive community for triathletes and endurance athletes in the Netherlands.
NTB is affiliated with Dutch sports organisations NOC*NSF, Europe Triathlon, and World Triathlon, representing all combined endurance sports.
The collaboration, which aims to provide cost-effective accommodation options for NTB members, includes a revenue share on the hotel bookings made by NTB's members.
NTB director Thorwald Veneberg said: “We are delighted to collaborate with HotelPlanner, a partner who shares our enthusiasm for improving the travel experience for endurance sports enthusiasts, making it more cost-effective and accessible for our members.”
The latest partnership with NTB is expected to help HotelPlanner expand its global footprint in endurance and athletic events, including Ventures Endurance and USA Triathlon, among others.
Founded in 2003, HotelPlanner is a provider of individual, group, and corporate travel bookings.
It has long-standing relationships with major online travel agencies, individual hotels, global hotel chains, ancillary lodging providers, sporting organisations, government agencies and various stakeholders in the travel and hospitality sector.
The travel technology company and hotel booking platform also combine proprietary advanced artificial intelligence technology and a round-the-clock global gig-based reservations and customer service network.
