Hudini, a provider of smart hospitality solutions, has obtained E-Visitor Authentication (EVA)-ready status from the Singapore Tourism Board.

The company has been recognised as EVA-ready due to its integration capabilities and implementation of contactless hotel check-in solutions.

Launched in 2019 by the Singapore Tourism Board, the EVA system leverages facial recognition technology to automate the validation process of international visitors with the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority.

The system, which is an application programming interface, can automate parts of the hotel check-in process for international visitors in the country.

Hudini's EVA-ready status enables customers to automate hotel check-ins for international guests by verifying the validity of their stay in Singapore through a passport photo match to their faces.

Hotels can assist their guests in achieving a completely contactless check-in experience via their website, mobile app, or tablets.

This helps alleviate front desk congestion while ensuring the highest standards of security and cleanliness protocols are met.

Hudini founder and CEO Prince Thampi said: “As a country, Singapore is a trailblazer in guest experience and efficiency and we are proud to have been identified as an EVA-ready technology provider.

“This accreditation allows us to integrate our self-check-in solutions with the EVA system and consequently enhance our capabilities to serve our customers in Singapore, such as Pullman Orchard and Pullman Hill Street.”

Hudini, a digital transformation platform for the hospitality industry, has collaborated with over 400 hotels across 25 countries.
