Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG), an Atlanta-based hotel operator, has taken on the management of Embassy Suites by Hilton Bloomington/Minneapolis in the US.
The company will also oversee a $9m overhaul to upgrade various aspects of the hotel, including guest rooms and public spaces, as well as the restaurant and back-of-house areas.
HVMG EVP and chief growth officer Michael “Woody” Woodward said: “Between our long-standing history and familiarity operating this and other Hilton-branded projects and our expertise overseeing major hotel refurbishments, the Embassy Suites by Hilton Bloomington/Minneapolis is an ideal addition to our growing nationwide portfolio that further expands our Midwestern reach.
“The renovation on the property will take approximately six months, and once completed, the hotel will achieve ‘like-new’ status, effectively making it the newest hotel in the market in the past few years.”
Located near the Mall of America, this all-suite hotel offers access to downtown Minneapolis, Valleyfair Amusement Park, and the Minneapolis−Saint Paul Airport, all within a 20-minute drive.
The pet-friendly hotel's suites feature separate living and sleeping areas.
The property also provides 5,600ft² of meeting space with on-site audiovisual specialists, an indoor pool, a 24/7 fitness centre, and Wi-Fi across the property.
In May last year, HVMG concluded renovations worth $6m at Courtyard Edison Woodbridge in New Jersey.
HVMG currently operates 56 hotels and one convention centre across 18 states, encompassing more than 9,400 guest rooms.
