Hyatt Hotels has unveiled its Wellbeing Collective, a curated selection of more than 30 Hyatt properties around the world.

These hotels offer personalised well-being experiences tailored to the needs of travellers.

The company plans to expand the Wellbeing Collective by 2024.

Hyatt vice president of Global Wellbeing TJ Abrams said: “We know that travellers are actively looking for well-being offerings to take advantage of while on the road. At Hyatt, we’re setting a new standard of well-being for travel, making sure every touch point is crafted with meaning and intent to support all facets of well-being.

“Today’s launch of the Wellbeing Collective reaffirms our commitment to serving the needs of all our guests and customers, including our growing business traveller segment.”

The Wellbeing Collective offers tailored experiences for both individual travellers and groups, aiding personal wellness journeys.

Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort is one of the collection’s properties in the Americas. It provides an outrigger canoe experience, allowing travellers to explore Mōkapu Beach by sea.

The collection also includes Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas, which facilitates a beach clean-up programme in partnership with the Rob Machado Foundation.

Additionally, Hyatt has created a global sales role to develop collaborations and offerings for meeting and event planners as part of its Wellbeing Collective launch.

This comes after the appointment of Abrams as vice-president of global Wellbeing in December 2022.

Hyatt plans to promote its meetings and events well-being offerings at IMEX America 2023, which is being held between 17 and 19 October 2023, through an in-booth activation.

The booth will include well-being-focused amenities such as a chef experience, care stations, a carbon emissions simulator wall and meditation pods with mindfulness videos.

It aims to help meeting and event planners learn about the integration of well-being, technology, sustainability and support at Hyatt hotels through the company’s Together by Hyatt offering launched in April this year.

Currently, Hyatt has more than 1,250 hotels and all-inclusive properties across 76 countries spanning six continents.
