Hyatt opens second Sunscape Coco Punta Cana in Dominican Republic

The newly remodelled 1,059-room resort expands Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection's portfolio to 15 resorts in the Dominican Republic.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the grand opening of Sunscape Coco Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, the latest addition to the company’s Inclusive Collection.

The newly remodelled 1,059-room resort, which is Sunscape Resort & Spa's second in the country, expands the Hyatt Inclusive Collection's portfolio to 15 resorts.

Hyatt describes its Inclusive Collection as the “largest portfolio of luxury all-inclusive resorts in the world.” The Collection, part of World of Hyatt, now includes ten resort and hotel brands.

Location and accommodations

“The Dominican Republic continues to be a destination of immense importance to the Inclusive Collection, part of World of Hyatt, and this stunning backdrop offers a cost-conscious ideal setting for families seeking both relaxation and adventure,” said Gonzalo del Peón, group president, Inclusive Collection Global Commercial, in a statement.

Located on Bavaro Beach in Cabeza de Toro, the resort offers rooms with ocean views along with two-bedroom and three-bedroom suites. 

The Sun Club provides an elevated experience with upgraded suites and exclusive services, ensuring personalised check-ins, dedicated lounges and premium amenities for discerning guests.

Dining options and family-friendly features

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana features 12 restaurants offering diverse dining options, including Italian, Asian and Amazonian cuisines. 

The resort also includes the Explorer's Club for Kids, beachfront activities and daytime and night-time entertainment for families.

“The opening of Sunscape Coco Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic presents an opportunity to bolster family-friendly, all-inclusive options in a diverse and vibrant market for travellers worldwide,” added del Peón.
