Hyatt Hotels has announced the expansion of its Unbound Collection brand into Oklahoma City, the US, with the addition of Fordson Hotel to its portfolio.
Fordson Hotel, also known as 21c Museum Hotel Oklahoma City, is owned by Hall Capital and operated by Avion Hospitality.
It will join Hyatt’s portfolio as an affiliated hotel under the Unbound Collection brand later this year.
When it joins Hyatt’s brand, Fordson Hotel will also become a part of the World of Hyatt loyalty programme, allowing the associated members to collect points on their stays and later use them for accessing dining, spas and other amenities.
The property is already bookable across all the reservation channels under Hyatt.
Hyatt development senior vice-president David Tarr said: “We are excited to collaborate with Hall Capital and Avion Hospitality to offer travellers a sophisticated yet unscripted experience in Oklahoma City’s emerging West Village District.
“Hyatt continues to prioritise thoughtful growth in the markets most relevant to our loyal guests and World of Hyatt members and this forthcoming addition to the Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand will offer guests even more story-worthy experiences.”
Inspired by the industrial revolution, Fordson Hotel is located at 900 West Main Street, Oklahoma City, housed in the century-old former Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant, which is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The hotel includes a total of 135 guestrooms and suites, a relaxed lobby and other public spaces.
It features a pool terrace, a 14,000ft² meeting and event spaces along with a large ballroom, a spa and a fitness centre.
In addition, the property has three different in-house dining venues: Mary Eddy’s Dining Room, Pool Bar and Bodega.
Last year, Hyatt Hotels debuted its Unbound Collection brand property in New York, US.
