IHG Hotels and Resorts has signed a management deal with AHG Hotels and Resorts for the development of the Holiday Inn Resort Kasauli in Himachal Pradesh, India.
To be located in one of Kasauli's prominent resort areas, Holiday Inn Resort Kasauli will feature 300 rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby lounge and a bar.
It will offer visibility and convenient access to prime tourist locations, the Chandigarh-Shimla highway as well as the city centre, the hospitality group said.
In addition to providing views of the Himalayan Mountain range, Holiday Inn Resort Kasauli will overlook a charming valley within the Shivalik Hills.
Once opened, the new resort will cater to the needs of leisure travellers, corporate retreats and social meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE), such as weddings from guests looking for natural beauty and tranquillity.
The property will also be equipped with a gymnasium, a 2,300m² meeting room and a swimming pool.
IHG Hotels and Resorts South West Asia managing director Sudeep Jain said: “We are delighted to partner with AHG Hotels and Resorts to introduce the Holiday Inn brand in Kasauli.
“As one of the most popular hill stations in North India, Kasauli attracts a multitude of travellers from Punjab, Delhi NCR and UP.
