IHG Hotels and Resorts (IHG) has opened two new hotels in British Columbia, Canada – Holiday Inn Express and Suites Courtenay - Comox and Holiday Inn Victoria - Elk Lake.

These hotels offer modern accommodations to meet the requirements of those travelling to Comox Valley and Victoria on Vancouver Island.

IHG Hotels and Resorts head of Canada and regional vice-president of Operations Company Managed Premium Hotels Jonathan Lund said: “We are thrilled to continue our growth in British Columbia with the opening of these two exceptional properties.

“Our guests will be able to experience the quality of these two iconic IHG brands while exploring all that Courtenay and Victoria have to offer.”

The Holiday Inn Express and Suites Courtenay - Comox features 93 guest rooms, an indoor pool, a fitness centre, laundry and a meeting area.

This property is close to downtown Courtenay and offers convenient access to the Comox Valley Airport and the Canadian Forces Base.

The Holiday Inn Victoria - Elk Lake has 71 guest rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and a meeting space, as well as The Lakes Restaurant and Bar, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner every day.

There are plans to add 64 rooms to The Holiday Inn Victoria - Elk Lake, which is located in Saanich, between Victoria International Airport and the Victoria downtown region.

Metropolitan Capital Partners and Metropolitan Hospitality Management manage the two hotels besides Holiday Inn Express Victoria-Colwood, which opened in 2015.
