IHG Hotels & Resorts, in partnership with Dart, has announced the opening of Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands, located South of Cuba.
The lifestyle hotel features 288 guest rooms, including suites which have waterfront views and outdoor balconies.
The property is designed to reflect the local culture and topography, with architecture and interior design by Farouki Farouki.
Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman is the second collaboration between IHG Hotels & Resorts and Dart, following the Kimpton Seafire Resort and Spa.
New Orleans-based Farouki Farouki has designed the resort to embody Grand Cayman's culture, with art and design that pay homage to the island's natural landscapes, historical figures, and cultural traditions.
This property’s 38 suites offer waterfront views and furnished outdoor balconies. The Family Suites are particularly accommodating for larger families, with the option to book an adjoining standard room for a two-bedroom suite that can host up to ten guests.
Diverse dining options are also available at the hotel. The multi-concept food hall includes the Catalina Bar and Lounge, which offers California-inspired cuisine made with fresh ingredients.
The hotel's rooftop lounge, Pom Pom, provides South American-inspired small plates and cocktails.
The Pool Deck offers two infinity swimming pools and the Bata Bar, which offers Caribbean-influenced cocktails and California-inspired cuisine.
Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman offers more than 7,500ft² of customisable space and bespoke catering services for events.
Hotel Indigo global brand management vice president Carol Hoeller said: “Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman represents the essence of what it means to be 'The World's Neighbourhood Hotel' by forging meaningful connections with dynamic communities and celebrating local flavours.
"Grand Cayman, with its stunning natural beauty and rich cultural tapestry, marks our first Caribbean location for the brand, and we’re excited for guests to uncover and cherish the unique Neighbourhood Story of this exceptional destination.”
