In a strategic move to enhance voco's presence in Australasia, IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a partnership with leading Sydney developer ALAND to introduce voco Gosford in early 2025.

This marks the seventh voco property in the region.

Archibald by ALAND development

Situated in New South Wales, voco Gosford will be a focal point of the Archibald by ALAND development, spanning 5,656m².

The mixed-use precinct will feature 320 residential apartments, a 130-room hotel and a selection of hospitality venues.

Design and amenities

The new property is designed with a focus on cosmopolitan offerings. voco Gosford's hotel will boast guest rooms up to 41m² and executive suites up to 54m².

Guests can anticipate views of the Central Coast, along with a diverse hospitality experience including a street-level pub and pizzeria, a rooftop sky bar and lounge on level 28, and a signature restaurant. Other features include a wellness centre and a total of 610m² in conference and events facilities.

The voco brand

voco Gosford exemplifies the brand's adaptability as part of IHG's expansion into Australia. Guests can expect personalised service, comfortable accommodation and vibrant social spaces, creating an experience synonymous with the voco ethos.

Since its launch in 2018 with the opening of voco Gold Coast in Australia, voco has become the fastest-growing brand within IHG Hotels & Resorts’ Premium collection, with properties in 18 countries.

Cameron Burke, IHG Hotels & Resorts director of development for Australasia and Pacific, expressed enthusiasm about the project, anticipating a transformative impact on Gosford's tourism landscape.

“This is an incredibly exciting development, and we are delighted to be part of a project that will transform the city of Gosford into a new lifestyle destination. I have no doubt the addition of voco to the city will help drive tourism across the region, and the adjacent hospitality amenity is sure to be a popular driver of patronage.”

ALAND founder and director, Andrew Hrsto, echoed this sentiment, emphasising how the integration of the voco brand will elevate Gosford as a lifestyle destination.

“Archibald is set to reposition Gosford as a major destination for holidaymakers and corporate hospitality. The voco brand was the perfect fit for what is set to be a vibrant lifestyle destination on the Central Coast, at a time of significant growth and investment in Gosford.”
