IHG Hotels & Resorts has collaborated with Roxy-Pacific Holdings for the debut of its Vignette Collection brand in the Maldives.
The new Noku Maldives, Vignette Collection will join IHG's Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio in December this year, following a revamp under the new brand.
It will be a 50-key private villa resort on the Kudafunafaru island, accessible via a short seaplane or flight and speedboat ride from Male International Airport.
The resort will feature 30 overwater villas and 20 beachfront villas, with the smallest villa spanning 175m². Most of the villas will also include a private pool.
Guests at Noku Maldives can also look forward to a range of facilities, such as two restaurants and bars, a fitness centre, an outdoor swimming pool, a retail outlet, and a spa.
Other amenities include a diving and water sports centre, which will provide access to the diverse marine life of the region such as stingrays, grey reef sharks, and sea turtles.
IHG Hotels & Resorts South East Asia and Korea development senior director Chris Anklin said: “As we gear up to our December launch, we look forward to welcoming guests to Noku Maldives, Vignette Collection – our fifth IHG property in the Maldives – as the Vignette Collection brand joins Six Senses, InterContinental and Holiday Inn in a broad portfolio of experiences with a stay for every guest and every occasion.”
The Vignette Collection was launched by IHG in August 2021, targeting a different segment than the upscale conversion brand voco.
This collection has expanded globally, with 18 hotels now open, including properties in Portugal, the UK, Thailand, the UAE, and Australia.
Roxy-Pacific Holdings deputy CEO and executive director Chris Teo said: “As part of a quickly growing brand family, Noku Maldives, Vignette Collection will retain its distinctive identity, supported by IHG’s scale and IHG One Rewards loyalty programme.
“Together with IHG, we look forward to providing guests with an elevated resort experience that will inspire them to stay longer and discover the natural wonders around them.”
