Jeddah Historic District has restored and regenerated three historic properties in the Al Balad town, a UNESCO heritage site on the west coast of Saudi Arabia, into luxury hotels.

Jeddah Historic District is a programme leading the regeneration of the town, under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture.

The newly launched hotels are House of Jokhdar, Kedwan, and Al Rayess.

The House of Jokhdar features nine rooms and suites, including the Royal and Dar Neem suites. Its exclusive roof terrace provides guests with views of the historic centre.

Beit Al Rayess has six suites and rooms, high ceilings and a design that bridges traditional and modern elements. The boutique hotel's amenities ensure guests experience both the authenticity of the past and the comforts of the present.

Beit Kedwan, a property that combines traditional Arabian design with modern comfort, offers two guestrooms and can be hired entirely. It features multiple living spaces and an exclusive rooftop terrace.

All three properties share a centralised restaurant that serves a set menu for lunch and breakfast, allowing both locals and visitors to access local cuisine.

Guests at the hotels can enjoy the heritage of Al Balad, along with coffee and rose-infused tea, and have the option to personalise their stay from the moment of booking.

Complimentary airport transfers on arrival and departure are also provided to guests.

The hotels are part of a broader restoration initiative in the area, representing the first 17 keys opened of a planned 165 keys across 34 heritage properties anticipated to open by 2027.
