Karisma Hotels & Resorts, in partnership with Dobrov & Family Group, has announced plans to construct the Porta Rai hotel-residential complex in Ulcinj, Montenegro.
Construction is expected to begin in November this year, with the project value estimated at €160m ($173.15m).
Dobrov & Family Group Montenegro director Dragan Lučić was quoted by Vijesti Online as saying: "Our goal is to ensure the start of construction in November, and the plan is to realise the entire project in a period of three to four years.
“We believe that with this project, we will enrich the tourist offer in the region, and provide everyone who wants it with a new address of luxury on the most beautiful beach of the Adriatic coast.”
The five-star Porta Rai hotel and residential complex will be situated on Velika Beach and feature an array of accommodations, restaurants and bars.
Among other amenities to be provided at the complex include seven swimming pools, and sports facilities including paddle, tennis, and basketball courts, as well as mini-golf.
The complex will also feature various children's facilities, catering to families.
Karisma Hotels & Resorts Europe and the Middle East director Nemanja Kostić said: “Accordingly, I am also pleased that the entire complex will be located in the middle of a large park, filled with green areas and authentic Mediterranean plants because we want to create an environment tailored to people.”
Last year, Karisma Hotels & Resorts signed an agreement with Salesforce and TELMEX, a Mexico-based company, to enhance its technological capabilities.
Karisma Hotels’ current portfolio of properties includes Azul Beach Resort Riviera Cancun, Azul Beach Resort Negril, Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya, and more.
