Kesko has teamed up with serviced apartment provider Forenom to introduce a new aparthotel in Porvoo, Finland.

The development will be situated adjacent to the Taidetehdas venue in the Länsiranta area.

It will feature a K-Citymarket hypermarket, 50 apartments, and 51 fully equipped residences.

This initiative marks a significant step in urban development, creating a vibrant hub for shopping, living, and culture along the riverbank.

The upcoming Forenom aparthotel in Porvoo will offer a range of residences, from studios to larger two and three-bedroom units, each furnished with a kitchen and household appliances.

It will also feature select residences with private saunas and balconies.

With a focus on delivering convenience, guests will be able to book online and access their rooms with a personal entry code.

The project is also committed to environmental sustainability, targeting the BREEAM Very Good certification.

It will expand Forenom’s service offering and help it reach new target groups in Finland.

Forenom CEO Jussi Saarinen said: “We are proud to partake in an international-level development project that introduces a new type of accommodation to Porvoo. Being one of Finland’s tourism gems, increasing the accommodation capacity of the city is important for Porvoo.

“The new aparthotel will provide our key customers with more options, as well as expand our offering to new segments.”
