UK-based chartered surveyor and property consultant Graham + Sibbald has listed Kings Arms Hotel, a ten-bedroom town centre hotel in Castle Douglas, Scotland for sale, inviting offers of around £525,000 ($676,882).

Situated at 31-33 St. Andrew Street, the property lies within the Dumfries and Galloway region, which can potentially be the future National Park site.

Kings Arms Hotel is mainly known for its rural Scottish theme and modern amenities.

Its year-round trade benefits from the influx of bikers, golfers, cyclists, hikers, as well as sightseers, according to Graham + Sibbald, which has more than 250 employees and 30 partners across 21 offices in the UK.

The hotel’s ten recently refurbished bedrooms offer guests a comfortable stay, with its three-bedroom flat providing accommodation for owners or residential staff.

Additionally, the hotel now has a two-bedroom, self-catering flat.

The property is situated on a prime location on the A75 Euro route, which also connects the M6/M74 at Gretna Green to Stranraer and Cairnryan.

This provides easy access to various attractions, including the Galloway Hills, 7Stanes Mountain Biking venues, Solway Coast beaches, as well as the UK's first 'Dark Sky Park' at Galloway.

Graham + Sibbald Hotel + Leisure Consultant Alistair Letham said: “The Kings Arms Hotel, being so well established in Castle Douglas, is an ideal hotel business for new entries to the licensed trade or experienced operators. The availability of excellent private accommodation only adds to the appeal of the Kings Arms Hotel.”
