LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Indian online travel company MakeMyTrip.

The partnership is set to offer Indian tourists a blend of LEGO-themed adventures and Malaysian cultural experiences.

This comes following Malaysia's visa-free status for Indian travellers until 31 December 2024, announced last year.

MakeMyTrip will roll out tailored vacation packages with special offers and experiences, aimed at enhancing accessibility and the overall experience for Indian tourists at the resort.

MakeMyTrip Holidays & Experiences chief commercial officer Jasmeet Singh said: “MakeMyTrip will offer exclusive deals and unique experiences to make LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort more accessible.

“This partnership highlights our commitment to enriching the travel experience for Indian travellers with unique and customised packages. By collaborating, we ensure that Indian tourists will fully enjoy the diverse offerings of LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort. Our combined efforts will make every trip to the resort a memorable adventure.”

LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort includes the LEGOLAND Hotel with various themed rooms.

This property also has a variety of dining options comprising Bricks Family Restaurant, Di Mattoni, Kai’s Sushi Bar, and Coffee @ Bricks.

LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort sales and marketing director Thila Munusamy said: “LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort is the ultimate family holiday destination. Our combination of world-class LEGO attractions, educational workshops, and exciting seasonal events offers families an unforgettable edutainment experience that sparks children's creativity and leaves lasting memories.
