Leisure Hotels Group has expanded its footprint with the opening of the new Suvaasa hotel in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, as reported by BusinessTraveller.com.
Located on top of the Malla hills, in the hill town of Ramgarh, this boutique hotel offers nine guest rooms with private balconies. Each room offers scenic views of the valley.
The hotel features an all-day multi-cuisine restaurant called The Diner that serves homestyle meals, as well as an alfresco dining space.
Guests can also enjoy evening high tea amid the hotel’s landscaped gardens.
Leisure Hotels Group director Vibhas Prasad said: “A hidden gem in the Kumaon region, Ramgarh is a less explored holiday destination that is conveniently accessible via air, road and rail. We are thrilled to strengthen our presence in Uttarakhand with the addition of Suvaasa.
“This opening also reinforces our unwavering commitment to continue offering immersive experiential stays with personalised services while upholding the authenticity and rich heritage of the destination.”
Situated within 1.5 acres of landscape, the property offers a range of activities, including hikes in the hilly terrain with views of Nanda Devi and Trisul peaks, forest walks and bird watching.
The hotel's location in Ramgarh, which is known as the ‘Fruit Bowl of Kumaon’, provides guests easy access to attractions in Nainital such as Naukuchiatal and Bhimtal.
The hotel is also 7.2km away from Mahadevi Verma Museum and 6.1km from Tagore Top.
Leisure Hotels Group has a portfolio of 28 hotels, including smart hotels, boutique resorts, luxury villas and camps across Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and other parts of India.
